Hope Allen is the dedicated founder and driving force behind Wyoming Small Biz, a company committed to empowering small businesses in the local community. Growing up amidst the picturesque landscapes of Wyoming, Hope developed a deep appreciation for the entrepreneurial spirit that fuels small businesses. This passion inspired her to establish Wyoming Small Biz, where her mission is to ensure small businesses thrive and flourish by providing the support they need.
With a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Wyoming College of Business and certifications in QuickBooks Online, Hope specializes in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and account reconciliation. Her professional background includes managing Wyoming Small Biz since 2021 and previously owning and managing LINE-X Total Truck Center in Castle Rock, CO.
Katelyn supports the WSB team as a Virtual Assistant, focusing on streamlining the operational and administrative aspects of our business. She has spent the majority of her career in HR and communications roles for businesses of all sizes and in varying industries. She is based in the Greater Boston area and is a mom of 3 girls, who – unsurprisingly – take up the majority of her non-work time!
Sara O’Dell is a seasoned bookkeeper with more than 15 years of remote bookkeeping experience. She is dedicated to helping small business owners get back to focusing on their businesses by fine-tuning financial processes. She also relies on her keen organizational skills, which has been important both professionally and personally in her role as Mom to her six kids! Sara lives in the Pacific Northwest, and when she’s not home, her favorite place to be is a warm, sunny beach.
Marjie Schoeneweis is an experienced bookkeeper and QBO clean-up specialist. Having worked in both accounting and bookkeeping, she appreciates the logic and process bookkeeping allows. Marjie is pursuing her MBA and has also earned her QuickBooks Online Advanced certification which she has maintained for the last 3 years. When she’s not working, Marjie lives a full life and can be found attending concerts, doing puzzles, traveling or home in Missouri with her husband, 5 kids, stepchild, 3 cats and her dog.
Shawna Vavrina is a bookkeeper based in the eastern plains of Colorado. Her administrative and customer service background has honed her focus on providing quality support to our customers. Originally from Florida, she gets back to visit as often as possible. Shawna is a mom to her 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl, and in her free time enjoys camping and traveling with her family.
